Immigration Court & Removal Defense Representation
Akela Mason, Esq. is a U.S. immigration attorney based in South Florida, representing individuals and families nationwide in Immigration Court and removal defense matters. Her practice also includes humanitarian relief, family-based petitions, consular processing, and related immigration matters.
Immigration Is Personal to Akela
Akela has personally experienced the immigration process, and that experience shapes the way she cares for her clients. She believes every case begins with listening. She takes the time to build trust, understand each client's story, and make sure they feel heard, informed, and supported throughout the process.
Akela also looks beyond the immediate issue that brought a client to her. By carefully reviewing their immigration history, family circumstances, prior filings, and background, she works to uncover concerns, opportunities, or possible forms of relief that may have been overlooked—or that the client may not have known existed. Her goal is to understand the whole person and build a strategy that truly fits their situation.
